Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort is located an hour and a half's drive or 30 minutes flight from Nairobi; 24 kilometres from Naivasha town and 12 kilometres of Nairobi-Nakuru highway. It is built on Eburru mountain and sits about 7000ft, from where it enjoys magnificent views. The vistas stretch from the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha to the jagged volcanic crater of Mount Long'onot and beyond the sloping shoulders of the Aberdare mountains.
Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort rooms are spacious with a lounge and fireplace and private balconies overlooking the Aberdares. The Resort offers 21 twin and 9 double rooms, all with private balconies overlooking the spectacular expanse of the Rift Valley. The rooms are located in spacious two- and three-storey blocks, and are beautifully furnished with large four-poster beds, handmade wooden furniture, and modern en suite bathrooms. Several of the rooms have interlinking doors that convert them into spacious family suites. Alternative accommodation is available in the Longonot Villas, 40 modern three-tier three-bedroomed houses.
Activities range from biking, golfing, tennis, swimming, star gazing, excursions to Hell's Gate and nature walks.
