Officially opened in 2003, the lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla, and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.
Man-Eaters camp is an exclusive lodge comprising of 31 fully furnished En- suits tents facing Tsavo river in Tsavo east/west. The camp has 8 family tents which have 1 double bed and 1 single bed for a child, all the beds are four-poster beds with mosquito nets and even the single can accommodate 1 adult. There is also 1 wheelchair friendly tent, easily accessible to and next to the bar, restaurant, and lounge at the camp. All the tents are well ventilated, spacious, consisting of a large king-size bed (6ft x 6ft) while the family tents have one double king size bed and an extra single bed.
Each tent overlooks the Tsavo River giving you a chance to enjoy the uninterrupted views from your own private accommodation. All tents have locally made furniture that easily blends in well with the great surrounding landscapes.
Manyatta camp offers a magnificent view of Tsavo National Park. All tents have breathtaking views of the park and the seasonal river.
Unique to the entire region each tent has been constructed with its own private plunge pool. The luxury tents are raised above the ground to give an uninterrupted view of the savannah grasslands of the park.
13 tents offer river view and the other 11 tents face the National Park. The attention to detail is second to none with rich furnishings that respect the relaxing atmosphere of its surroundings offering all our guests luxury in the wild.
Carnelley's is a tranquil and clean campsite wit beautiful bushy grounds. The monkeys swing from the trees and the Hippos graze on the pier. There are shelters with big tables and water provided in the camp so our campers can still cook even when it is raining. We have plenty of powerful steaming showers and clean flushing toilets. There is a great view of the Lake whenever you are suited t the camp. We are easily accessible to Naivasha Town only, 19 kms down the South Lake road and there's easy access to shops nearby.
The property is less than 5 minutes walk from Nyali Beach and 2 Minutes drive from the famous Nyali Mall. The rooms have a clear view of the Sea beyond; With back-up generators, high speed WIFI and well serviced lifts.
